Life In Focus Examining Life Through the Lens of Scripture. L.I.F. is designed to help people develop intimacy with Jesus through an interactive treatment of the sermon. In order to fully participate in L.I.F. the following steps have been suggested: Obtain a copy of the study material. You can do this weekly by picking up a copy of the study material in the West and Northeast foyers to the Worship Center or by for it to be sent to you via e-mail or by it from our website. Study it in your devotional time throughout the week. As you engage this material you will be preparing your heart and mind for the upcoming Sunday sermon. The lesson can be completed in five days. There is additional study material for each day in the "Digging Deeper" section should you have the time. Most importantly, make sure you take time to allow for reflection. If you have questions on any part of the study feel free to e-mail your contact person's address found on the study packet. Bring it to church on Sunday. Invest in a binder or folder that you can bring on Sunday morning. Our pastor-teacher will instruct us in the same topic studied in the previous week. We encourage you to take notes throughout the sermon. Connect with other believers in the same study. This is a critical part of L.I.F. We would like you to join with other believers in a smaller setting either in our or with a Community Group so that you can interact with the L.I.F. study. By this point you will have studied it in your devotional time and listened to a sermon for clarification and inspiration. This step is then designed for interaction (finding out how others answered the material) and action (what do I do with the knowledge that I now have).
