Next Steps

Welcome to our MBC family!  A personal trust in the Lord Jesus who died for you and then rose again - that's the beginning.  Then it's important to grow in your intimacy with God together with your new spiritual family.  At MBC, we want to do everything we can to help you come to know Jesus and then mature in Him.  We encourage you to:

 

1.  Make Family Worship on Sunday a priority for your individual family.

 

2.  Visit our Hospitality Room in the Commons Foyer. Greeters will help you find out more about our church family and help answer your questions.  They will be happy to give you a tour and get your family situated.

 

3.  Attend our Discover Class designed for Newcomers (Discover Room - Room 100 in Youth Building). This on-going eight week class welcomes newcomers into our family each week.  You will meet others who are new to our church family and begin lasting relationships while Discovering God, Discovering the Unique You and Discovering MBC.

 

4.  Join an Adult Education Class.   Every Sunday from 10-11am, many classes for various ages groups and covering various topics study God's Word and share life together.

 

5.  Join a Small Group or Interest Group - These groups meet throughout the week in homes, at church or other local venues and strive to come together to grow towards Christlikeness through fellowship, studying God's Word and sharing common interests.

 

6.  Find a Ministry that you think you might enjoy and then volunteer to serve.   There is no better way to deepen relationships and glorify the Lord then by serving in a ministry where you are gifted, passion and needed.

 

Knowing and loving our Heavenly Daddy comes not only through prayer and time in His Word, but also in living in fellowship with other beleivers.  Take the initiative to find a group with which you can build a relationship and grow in your intimacy with the Lord!
