Discover Class

At MBC, we recognize that finding a new church family to call home can often be a difficult challenge.  Finding where the kids go, understanding what the church believes and values, what kind of ministries are available, wondering whether you will be welcomed are all good questions that most people ask as they explore a new church.

 

We have established our Discover Class to answer your questions and make you feel welcomed the very first Sunday you come to our church home.

 

Our ongoing four-week class centers on three main sections: Discover God, Discover You and Discover MBC. In our Discover God section, we want you to get an overview of what we believe about God, the story He is telling since Creation as revealed through His Word and the gracious gospel good news He has provided through His Son Jesus Christ.  In our Discover You section, we want to help you discover what the Lord thinks about you and how you can best use your unique giftedness and passion to love and serve our Heavenly Father.  Finally, in our Discover MBC section, we want you to know what it is that makes our church family unique and how we fit within God’s plan for the church. Here you will learn MBC's purpose and philosophy of ministry, our mission, our ministries and our aims to accomplish the Lord's will. During the class, you will also have an opportunity to become a family member if you believe that is what the Lord desires.
