Mission

Our Mission and Ministry and Aims

“Building God’s Family by Developing Intimate Followers of Jesus Christ” is the expression of our passion for participating with God as He builds His eternal Family and Kingdom.
The Lord has given every church the biblical mandates to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:36-40) and to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).

MBC has always aimed to love, obey and treasure Jesus by modeling and expressing G.R.A.C.E…

Grow Mature Reproducing Disciples

Our major mission remains to introduce people to our gracious Lord Jesus Christ and help them to mature and grow in their relationship with God.   We want to help our people realize that God’s greatest desire is for them is to experience a deep and loving personal relationship with their Heavenly Daddy. We want to help them learn to treasure Jesus above everything and to become more like Him each day. We want them to serve the Lord and honor Him by introducing others to Jesus and then help others grow in Him.
Matthew 22:36-40; Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 14:25-35; John 15:1-17; 2 Timothy 2:2

Raise Christ Centered Families

We aim to develop loving, biblical, Christ-honoring homes that train their children (and subsequent generations) to follow Christ. We are committed to challenging and equipping our families to develop healthy marriages and to train their children to follow Christ and impact the world in which they live.
Genesis 2:24; Deuteronomy 6:1-15; Ephesians 5 and 6; Colossians 3:18-21

Adore the Triune God

We aim to build a devoted family of believers by meeting together for corporate worship, fellowshipping together in small groups and joining together in the study of the Bible, God’s inspired, authoritative word. We want our family to be loving and caring towards one another and welcoming to new people as a testimony to the community and the world.
John 13:34-35, John 17, Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 2:19-4:16; Phil. 3:10, Colossians 3:12-17, Hebrews 10:24-25

Communicate Him in our Culture

We strive to help our church family members understand that they have been uniquely gifted by God in their chosen vocation and that He desires them to see their homes and their vocations as their primary areas of ministry. We want to purposefully make disciples in our spheres of influence. We want to actively reach out to the poor and outcast in our community by proclaiming the gospel message and by meeting needs through acts of service.
Matthew 5:17; Acts 1:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 Peter 3:13-16; Colossians 3:17

Express Our Faith Globally

We also recognize that the Lord’s Great Commission was not just to our community, but He asked us to make disciples of all nations. Therefore, we desire to come alongside national churches to assist them in spreading the gospel, building disciples and planting grace oriented churches that proclaim Jesus where He is not known.
