Core Values

God has placed ten core values at the heart of MBC

1. Bible-Centered: We believe the Bible is our primary source of instruction and encouragement. 2 Timothy 3:16, Romans 12:7, & James 1:23-25

2. Prayer Dependent: We believe prayer is our open line to God and deepens our intimacy with Him. Acts 6:4 & James 5:16

3. Family Focused: We believe in supporting and equipping individual families and in promoting unity among Jesus's followers in the greater Family of God. Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Proverbs 22:6, & Ephesians 4

4. Worship Driven: We are created to worship. We value the corporate and personal worship of God. John 4:19-24

5. Grace Extending: We seek to demonstrate God's grace in our message and methods of ministry. Philippians 2:1-11 & Ephesians 1:3-14

6. Maturity Building: We value the pursuit of growing towards Christlikeness and obedience to His will. Ephesians 4:25-26, 32 & Philippians 1:6

7. People Empowering: We value spiritually gifted believers effectively serving Jesus and want to see every Christ follower empowered to use their gifts to build up the church. 1 Corinthians 12 & 14, Romans 12, & Ephesians 4

8. Outreach Oriented: We believe lost people matter to God. Therefore, MBC seeks to reach out to spiritual outsiders and help them encounter Jesus. Luke 5:30-32 & Matthew 18:14

9. Globally Concerned: We aim to play a significant role in spreading the hope and power of the gospel to the lost and hurting throughout the world. Matthew 28:18-20 & Acts 1:8

10. Excellence Growing: We desire to do our utmost to bring honor to God in all areas of life and ministry. Colossians 3:17 & Proverbs 27:17
