Pine Cove for KidsWe're going back to Pine Cove, October 1st - 3rd, 2010. Registration is now open online. Click Here to Register. Each fall MBC takes kids to Pine Cove for a weekend retreat filled with great speakers, fun programs, camp activities and real bonding with their friends and ministry leaders. The weekend combines all the fun of camp – hilarious skits, crazy cheers, cool camp games – with intentional programming designed to maximize the time leaders get to invest in their students. Pine Cove breaks down the conference into elements of fun and spiritual depth that perfectly fit the elementary-age student. The Towers staff chooses experienced speakers who will challenge the students and provide a foundation for the church to build on when the conference is over. We give leaders the chance to have one-on-one interaction with their students, the chance to live out the Christian life in front of them, and the chance to lead them to Jesus. We hope that these kids get caught up in a passion for Jesus Christ and are stirred to follow Him the rest of their days.
Where and When
Cost: $85 per child – covers the retreat, dinner on Friday night at Cici’s in Tyler, transportation, an MBC Pine Cove t- Shirt, all meals and activities at Pine Cove.

Location: Towers (Tyler, TX) MAP
Depart MBC Friday, October 1st , 4:00PM.
Return to MBC: Sunday, October 3rd, 3:30PM.
Conference Speaker: TJ Nicholson
TJ is currently the Bluffs Conference Director here at Pine Cove. He has worked at Pine Cove for thirteen summers and three of those years he served as full-time staff at the Towers. TJ graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a degree in Behavioral Science. He and his amazing wife, Amanda, met at Pine Cove and enjoy working with elementary through college age-students. TJ is a storyteller at heart. He adds humor and some very memorable characters to a great Bible-centered message, which will help kids, and adults alike, remember Gods Word.
Programmed Activities: All-Camp game on Saturday morning and Pitch Black Attack Saturday night (like we can be the Towers if we didn't play PBA!)
Free Time Activities: Horse Rides, Ropes Course, Snack Shop, BB Guns, Archery, Arts and Crafts, Mini-Golf, Pickle Ball, Washer Toss, Giant Tree House, 4-Square, Basketball Court, etc.
What to bring: Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Shorts, Shirts, Pair of Jeans, Shoes & Socks, Set of Dark Clothes, Jacket/Sweaters, Toiletries, Towel, Bible, Note Pad & Pen, Flashlight, Swimsuit, Snack shop money
Cabin Accommodations: We use only the newer castle cabins. These have two sides to them, which is connected by a bathroom. Each side can sleep 8 campers (9 if we add a cot), and the bathroom has four showers and four toilets.
