Njeru lives with his father and his mother. He is responsible for caring for animals. His father is sometimes employed as a laborer and his mother is sometimes employed as a farmer. There are 5 children in the family. Njeru is not presently attending school. Playing group games is his favorite activity. He also attends church activities regularly. Because of our sponsorship, Njeru will have new opportunities to learn and grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thank you for participating in our Generosity Project. |
As we learn and grow in Generosity, becoming more and more like Christ, we thought we'd challenge kids to demonstrate Generosity in a pracitcal, but real way. We’re asking kids to bring enough money in the months of December and January for the ClubHouse to sponsor a child through Compassion International for the entire 2009 year. Compassion does a great job of ministering to all the needs of less fortunate kids in America and around the world. Since the sponsorship is $32 a month with a Christmas bonus, we’d like to raise $400 to begin. That’s going to be about $5-$7 per kid. It’s a substantial amount of money for a kid to give away, but that’s the whole point.
I deeply desire each of my kids and yours to begin to understand the joy of sacrificial giving. I’d love for you to find some extra jobs around the house so the kids can truly give of their own money. Thanks for helping reach this next generation and for helping them reach around the world with their Generosity.
Kevin Njeru Kiura is a 6 year old in Kenya awaiting our adoption. You can learn more about Njeru by coming to ClubHouse and helping write to him all year long as we build a relationship with him.
Please remind your kids to be earning, saving and bringing their money to the ClubHouse to go towards this great cause.
